2022年4月にリリースされたYocto4.0 LTS (Kirkstone)の11回目のポイントリリース4.0.11公開のアナウンスが2023年7月4日付けでありました。
当初予定より3日早く6月23日版で構築、QAは7月3日に完了、TSC Teamのチェックを経て、予定より3日早く早く7月4日のリリースアナウンスとなりました。

今回のリリースでの主な変更点：
　　〇 CVEに登録された脆弱性への対応
　　〇 カーネルは 5.10は. 5.10.175から5.10.180へ、5.15は 5.15.108 から 5.15.113 へアップグレード

　　リリースアナウンスの時点で、次のポイントリリースに向けてのコミットが複数行われています。

次のポイントリリース4.0.12 は 2023/08/07 版で構築、QA後の2023/08/18 のリリースを予定しています。
