2019年4月17日付けで、Yocto2.6.2(Thud)のリリースがアナウンスされています。
2019/03/27にコミットされたものがQAを経てのリリースとなっています。

本日（日本時間2019年4月19日 10:30)現在、git で　branch thud で指定したものは
レシピ関連ではboostのアップデート(1.68→1.69)が行われております.。
リリースノートに記載されている修正項目のうち、最初の方に記載されている
ものは配布されるtar.gz に含まれていないのでご注意下さい。

なお、従来リリース時の変更点等は yocto-announce メーリングリストにテキストデータ
で送付されてきましたが、今回のリリースでは変更内容は含まれておりません。
