2021年4月にリリースされたYocto3.3(Hardknott)の6回目のポイントリリース 3.3.6公開のアナウンスが2022年4月28日付けでありました。
2022年4月16日付けでコミットされたものがQAを経てリリースとなっています。
当初予定では 3/28版で構築　4/8 公開予定でしたが、4.0のリリース候補版が3度作り直しとなった関係で3W弱の遅延でリリースとなっています。

3.3 公開当初はリリース後7ヶ月経過した3.3.4で、STABLEとしてのサポートは終了する予定でしたが、2022/4 まで
STABLEの期間が延長となっていました。プロジェクトとして最終のポイントリリースとなり、サポート期間終了(EOL)となりました。

今回のリリースでは、LTSであるdunfell で追加された almalinux のサポートは含まれておりません。
