2022年4月にリリースされたYocto4.0 LTS (Kirkstone)の1回目のポイントリリース4.0.1公開のアナウンスが2022年5月24日付けでありました。
当初予定より1日早く5月15日版で構築され、QAの問題無くパスしたため3日早い5月24日にリリースとなっています。

5月15日以降 freetype に対して3つ qemu に対して2つのCVE対応のコミットが行われるなど、既に更新作業は開始されています。

次のポイントリリース4.0.2 は 2022/6/27 版で構築、QA後の2022/7/0 のリリースを予定しています。
