2022年4月にリリースされたYocto4.0 LTS (Kirkstone)の2回目のポイントリリース4.0.2公開のアナウンスが2022年7月8日付けでありました。
当初予定より2日遅く6月29日版で構築されましたが、スケジュールとおり7月8日にリリースとなっています。

今回のリリースでが、カーネルは 5.10.119 及び 5.15.44 が提供されています。

なお、6月29日以降 複数のレシピに対するCVE対応のコミット等次期リリースに向けた更新が行われています。

次のポイントリリース4.0.3 は 4.0.2リリース一カ月後2022/8/8 版で構築、QA後の2022/8/19 のリリースを予定しています。
